Traffic?

Hey, Dis'ers! We're staying at HRH and will be driving to SW either on a Wednesday or Friday. What kind of traffic can we expect? We'd like to be there before opening, like around 8:30, so I'm trying to figure out what time to leave.

Also, will there be any big differences in crowds between Wednesday and Friday in mid-September?

I was talking about SW for either Wed/Fri, but now that I've found out Manta will be refurbished the 13th-17th, I'm thinking about going to SW the prior weekend.

So I'm rephrasing my question : What day would have lower crowds, Saturday or Sunday?

Sunday. But in Mid September crowds aren't an issue no matter what day you go. You will have probably 7,000 people at the park at most which is nothing at all.
