traffic on I-Drive

We are staying off site on N I-Drive I know, I already reget not staying on site - next time for sure!) I have read horrible things about the traffic in the early morning in route to WDW. Is it true?? What's the best way to avoid the Sand Lake~I-4 nightmare? I was thinking Universal Drive to Beeline, then I-4. Is this doable, or too far off track? How long will our commute be?

Heading west on I-4 from the I-Drive area really shouldn't be too much of a problem. Most of the commuter traffic will be heading east toward downtown.
