Traffic during Thanksgiving..

Does anyone have any information on how bad, if it is, to travel from New England (RI) to Disney the week of Thanksgiving? I know "its the busiest travel week" of the year, but I am just wondering if highway traffic is greatly affected

I don't know if this will be helpful because our drive has been to/from NE Ohio, but we have found that we never drive home on the Sunday after Thanksgiving! We were in heavy traffic from Florida to WV until we just decided to stop for the night. We usually arrive the Saturday before and leave the Saturday after and it was fine...but the one time that we decided to stay an extra day and leave on Sunday was a regrettable decision.
