Trafffic/Attraction Questions

Hi All,

We will be in San Diego for three days before heading to Anneheim for a DL vacation. Would like to spend the day in the LA area before checking into GCH. I plan to leave San Diego after the am rush. How long will it take me to get to Hollywood?

When must we leave the area to avoid the pm rush to Annaheim? Is the traffic exceptionally bad from LA to Anneheim?

Also, Could you reccommend something to do in the LA area? While my DH and I have been there a few times, it is my DM's first trip. I want to take her to see the Walk of Fame, Hollywood sign and the Chinese Theater. What else might I do with my mother who absolutely loves the image of Hollywood glamour?

Resraurant suggestions?? Attraction suggestions?
