Traditions for Your Family at WDW

Our last day in the parks must be spent at MK and the last thing we do is see SpectroMagic!

[*]At the end of a long day as we are walking out of the park, my oldest DS and I dance our way down the street. My oldest DS is now 11 and this is the only place he would be seen acting completely silly withi his mom. This is also the only place where he insists on holding my hand.

I LOVE this!!! And I hope that my two boys will do this with me as they get older.

We always get a picture taken with the Andy Griffin bust at DHS. Have been doing this since oldest DS was ten months old and he just turned 7. We make SSE our first Epcot ride and we always spend some time at DTD on our first and last day.

Eat at Crystal Palace the first morning we get there, Ride the monorail the entire track in WDW, and walk around the GF because it is so beautiful

On our last day, we always hit all 4 parks, doing our favorite attraction "one more time" in each one.

When we leave MK for the last time, we always turn around and wave at the exit stiles and say "Goodbye Mickey!" and say when we'll be back (we usually know the next trip dates, but if not, just say "next year")

We eat at CP at least once a year, and measure how much dd has grown by how many stripes she comes up on Tigger.

We keep a journal each night back at the hotel, describing the funniest moment, the most magical moment, and one thing new and one thing revisited each day.

OMG I'm so jellous of you guy with your traditions! The last time I was in WDW was 2003 on our honeymoon.... the only tradition we had on that trip was staying in bed late - not going to happen this time!!!! I can't wait to start traditions with my girls!

BTW - I can't believe no one said they made a tradition on fooling someone to try that nasty Beverly soda - I think I may be the first one to start that!

We always head to Downtown Disney our first day and rent a Pontoon boat. The kids love it so much and it's a great way to ease into the Disney experience. They asked though if we could do the motorboat next time so the tradition may be changing!
