Hi All,

There are a lot of challenges going on out there these days and I thought it would be fun to have one just for paper scrappers.

These challenges will allow for a longer time to complete your work and the winner (selected by a random drawing) will win a prize. The host is responsible for supplying the prize and mailing it off to the winner.

For the first challenge I want you all to bust our your EYELETS!!! I heard those groans.;) I happen to like the eyelet and think they have been given the shaft lately. So get out your crop-o-diles and start scrapping.

The deadline for this challenge is May 17th. You can scrap on any topic you like. Just be sure to include at least 4 eyelets on the page.

Good luck!!!

I may have to break out the eyelets for this one. I'm off to target today and then I will be scrapping.

I don't eyelets or a crop-a-dile so I guess I'm out :(

but I have sooo many eyelets and this will motivate me to use them....I hope.

I think this is a great idea but I dont eyelet or care to but I am looking forward to the next challenge!:hippie:

oooh ... I don't even know where my eyelets are. Finding them is going to be part of the challenge :-)

I don't do eyelets either, don't have a crop-o-dile. But thanks Denise for starting a challenge for just paper scrappers! I love checking out what everyone creates. I'll stay tuned for the next challenge.

Isn't that funny. When I first started scrapping, I thought eyelets and brads were like a requirement. I bought the MM quickset to make holes & set them. Then I graduated to the crop-a-dile. I still use brads more than eyelets because I'm not comfortable just leaving them alone. Eyelets have a hole in them. You have to put something in it, right? :rotfl2:

 Exactly.. that is why I'm waiting to see if something hits me to do this challenge.. w/ the ton of photos/papers/eyelets something will inspire me!

For those of you who don't have eyelets, you can use brads.

I will post some layouts later today with brads and eyelets.

Have fun with this one!!!

If we can use brads I am in. :thumbsup2 I looked at the crop a dile, but never bought it...I just use the point of a kid's corn on the cob holder and a big wodden spoon to make the holes. :rotfl2: Wow...that really made me sound like a redneck. :lmao:

:hippie:

:rotfl::laughing::hippie:
I used a fat tac to make the entry holes.. I only bought the crop-a-dile when we did the paper bag swap and all the holes needed to be in the same place on all pages and it was easier to fold and punch...

Oooh! If we can use brads then I'm in. I have those in my stash!! Now to get to work tonight. Kids, it's bedtime! Mommy has some scrappin' to do! :rotfl2:

First, Rednecks rule (in AZ we're Desert Rats) we have our carburators hanging by the ham being cured too!:rotfl: (Thanks Jeff!)

All we have to do is use 4 brads on a page and we post it? No theme or anything? Just want to make sure Im reading this right. I cant do a swap without a brad somewhere!

If you have eyelets you should use them, other wise for those who don't, brads are ok. No theme. You can do what ever you like.

Good luck!

I'm in on this one too. I just have to remember how to use the eyelet punch I have...
