Trading with the Jawas

We happened inside the Jawa area during some desert party. I felt like we should not have been in there, but it was our last day there. I had brought a few things. One of which was a DELL Server faceplate key. It looks alot like a key for a pop machine. Anyway, I gave it to the Jawa and they examined it. They looked around and took off running full sprint to the little cage of droid parts and other odds and ends that has a locked door. They were trying to make the key work. They came back after a bit and made gestures as to what the key opened. I told them what it was and they dug around for a bit in their "other little pouch" and produced a C3PO PEZ dispenser. It was one of the funnest times we had on the whole trip.

Okay, so I gotta know how they do this?! Are all of the Jawa CMs dwarves/little people? I mean, the one in this pic looks very small-statured, like a young child, but clearly they're not employing kids. Pretty cool either way!

We took circuit boards to trade (DH works at a manufacturer and can get all the scrap he wants). Got a droid body. We gave away some of the extras to kids who looked keen, so they could go try to trade too.

Not to drag out this rabbit trail too long, but did you see the pic on the prior page? That is a VERY VERY small petite lady.
The ones we saw (on three different days) all appeared to be very petite females. Probably between 4' and 5'. Definitely move in a feminine manner, and not child-like. And not proportioned like small people (I'm sure this is not the PC term). Not that unheard of, I don't think.

We visited the Jawas twice. The 1st time they weren't trading. The 2nd time son traded a big bouncy ball (got from machine at Old Navy for.25) they bounced it around and acted silly. He got a Wookie face, stuffed animals type thing (son was thrilled) DD traded a bead necklace (shiny purple) and got a little stuffed thing.
Best part was the non trading one picked on DS about his Darth Vader sweatshirt, put the hood up and acted scared. Great interaction.

That's only about 5-6% of the population - i looked it up ;-)

I've been told Disney is picky when they choose the princesses. They look for the similar face frame, body type, complexion, etc

I didn't know they would trade! My husband will love this! Even if they won't trade for anything, he'll still enjoy the entertainment.

It probably helps if your kids are SW fans and understand the Jawas are shady traders. They are not known to be cooperative or fair (heck they sell droids that break down in 10 seconds!) So they can maybe understand that they will act like this.

We saw a girl offer many items and they turned them all down. i offered her a light up bracelet (you can switch it on and off). I got at Target 90% off clearance, after the summer. They would not take it either. I traded a tiny silver flashlight (target $1 item) and got back.... a tiny red plastic flashlight, lol.

I am not the best at selfies, and 2X with them, they took my phone and took the selfie of us instead of me.
