Trading Via Pinpics question/advice

I haven't traded online in eons, but since I got some of the MNSHHP pins and want some of the ones that came after 'my' party, I am trading again.

I did put a thread up on the Pin Trading Board part of this board, but no takers yet for MNSSHP pins.

Anyway, my question....I only sent out a trade request to one person via Pinpics as my first shot. How long do I give before I try others? They would have gotten it today....I was going to give them until Tuesday to reply and then go back in and send out another request. Is that fair? Or should I wait longer? I realize they may not ever reply at all since some that don't want to trade don't bother sending a 'no', which is fine.

So what do you think?

I usually submit trade requests to several potentially interested parties. The first one to respond and offer the deal is the one that I honor. I keep the others in reserve as potential back-ups if the deal falls though.

This seems to be how many people do it, since I often times miss out because I didn't check my email until after work. But, that's ok, win some lose some. Maggie

Things have changed a lot since I started trading in 2000, so I wanted to make sure I still knew what to do.

As a side note, the person replied today and agreed to a trade!

I sent out another trade request to someone else for the others she didn't trade me for.
