Trading "up" park ticket question..

Our local Disney Store does not sell WDW park hopper tickets for over 7 days... We are trying to pay cash as we go for July Trip, and wanted to get our tickets at the store. I think i remember reading that I can simply take these unused tickets to Guest Services and "trade up" and only pay the difference... I want 8 or 9 day hoppers (it is only about $3 more per ticket!!).

Am I right guys???? Thanks a bunch!

Only went one time last year and am suffering severe withdrawal!!

You can add days/options at any guest relations desk in the parks or at the concierge desk in each resort. YOu'll need to pay the difference, but it's very quick adn easy to do. We added no expiration to ours in December at MK in city hall. It took about 5 minutes.
