Trading to Vero, Renting trades, & room requests

Help! We are DVC members who also have a few other timeshares. We used points & traded with Interval to get 3 units during the same week in May for a big family thing. So, here are some questions for anyone with any advice:

--The last time we were there we had a veranda that barely fit 2 chairs. I did see some larger ones--any idea where these are/ how to request them? It also had a wall, instead of rails--a big problem w/ my little one. Any suggestions?

--Someone bailed out and now we have the studio empty. I know I can get a guest certificate for it, but has anyone rented this type of thing? Any idea what to charge, etc.?

--Are there any decent restaurants not too far from the resort?

While you can give a guest certificate to a guest, II does not allow renting an exchange - it is against the II rules. Regarding what to charge, "free" is your only allowed option.

Thanks again to DIS for a wealth of info. I'll have to double check with II on that and read, read, read the fine print. My membership info. seems to indicate that renting to a guest is fine, but that doing so commercially is definately against the rules, which is a good thing.
