trading stuff with myself

Anyone else having problems when using the (Control N) feature at the sign in to bring up another log in? I tried it several times, and I can't log in.

To trade with another character of yours you'll want to open up vmk in a different web browser. For example, if you use Internet Explorer for you main character, open up Firefox and log in as your other character.

I have a question along these lines... when trading with yourself, do you have to trade both ways or can one charater give everything to the other with nothing in return? Silly question, I know, but I would hate to get into trouble for making a bad deal with myself.....

You can perform a trade when the other party does not receive anything. It will just give you a warning that this person has not placed an item for trade.

I just did this yesterday without any problems. If you have not done this before, when the sign in window pops up, you then hit (control n) before signing in. This will bring up 2 of the same sign up windows. You then log in with your main character on one and another character on the other. I always go into advanced mode and pick a lobby to have the characters meet for the trade. It does allow you to trade things without getting anything in return. It will just give you a warning screen first, but you can click to accept the trade. I have had friends tell me that (control n) does not work on Mac computers, so people on and Apple are out of luck with this trick.
