So what does everyone think? Has Paige grown on anyone yet? I have not seen Hildi yet though, woohoo!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I am not sure if I like Edward or Kia yet, I did like the room he did last night though. (painted over the wall paper in the master bedroom)

Oh and Vern's Planes, Trains & Automobile room was awesome!! I love Vern!!

I think I do like Edward. I missed the shows with Kia, so no opinion on her yet.

No Hilde yet, that's OK by me.

I wish someone would show us a pic of Lauri's baby.

I always preferred Paige to Alex, so that's moot for me.

I am so addicted to this show. Love it Love it Love it. So glad the new season started.

I agree with Debbie about all of this!!

And, I LOVED Vern's room for little boy, I'm doing that for my DS!!

Oh and what did you think about Dougs zebra stripped room? I thought it was pretty cool - loved the monkeys looming over the bed. Might scare the pants off of you in the middle of the night but it was cool. I loved the Home Owners reaction too - "not sure if I want to kill him or kiss him" LOL!!

Loving the new season so far too! :)

ACH! Good ole' Doug's jungle room - was too much for me! The Homeowners appeared to like it, unless they were just being polite!

I definitely like Edward!!! And Vern is my favorite by far. Both of these gentleman design rooms that REAL people would want to live in. :)

Doug is back to his usual hijinks  -- I think the room he did last night was hideous. It would have been FINE without the zebra-striped walls.

Thanks for the update, I had stopped watching because of so many re-runs, but now I will tune in again. New designers, I can't wait.:D

I really liked the little boys room. I also didn't like Doug's room, although it wasn't as bad as I thought by the previews. The beds w/ the bamboo kind of reminded me of the Poly.
Did anyone also watch "While you were Out"? The garden expert had a black beret with a WDW Mickey pin--the British flag one!!
Robin M.

Edward does great rooms...I do like his taste, he is a little bland personally. Vern RULES! Boy when I win that lottery I am calling him. Last night when Frank pulled out those colors I thought he had finally flipped. All in all though his room was ok. I LOVE this show.

I like Paige better than Alex. Paige seems more genuine; Alex seemed like she just wanted camera time.

Edward is good, but I really didn't like that pea-soup green color in that room. I was chatting on the phone with CookieGVB and we interrupted the conversation just to say "Ewwww!" Doug's room was ... interesting. And Vern rocks!! I want a room like that!!!

I didn't watch very closely last night but I read the Trading Spaces boards and there was some information there.

The furniture & headboard from Doug's Safari room are on ebay right now. I quess the homeowner's got tired of it pretty quickly ;) It was too much for me but my 8yo DD thought it was great!

There were pics of Laurie's baby on the hosptials website for awhile. I'll see if I can find how to find them on the trading spaces board.

We also noticed the Mickey Pin - Robin :) Must be a Disney fan.

I loved the room with the zebra walls. The planes, trains, and automobiles was very cool.
My DD's math teacher will be on the Nov. 30th show. I think the show will be full of jokes. They did alot of gags to get on the show. The neighbors that they switched with are always playing jokes on each other.

Kia will be back next week with plastic flowers in a bedspread!

Edward has done some very nice rooms for his 3 episodes. Although the cording he always does at the wall/ceiling is a little repetitive.

Vern's boy's room was pretty awesome. Although the motorcyle was kind of close to the window, which might be a minor danger.

Can't believe they put ALL of their furniture up for auction. I can understand the painting over of the room. But to sell all that furniture -- it wasn't bad. Actually the whole room had an Animal Kingdom Lodge feel. I really liked it.

And my favorite, Frank, kind of missed the boat. Other than the ceiling, I really didn't care for the room or his artwork (I loved Saturday morning's repeat when he did the Shakespearian stuff on wood).

I like all of those shows - never did get to see the results last night tho of Vern's and Edward's - feel asleep - hopefully the reruns will be on this week - would love to see the finished rooms. I get so many ideas from this show - always something to look forward to.

I thought the "plane "room was great, but the zebra room:rolleyes: was that really a bunch of bananas hanging by a string next to the wall? And I know they always do candles, but candles in wall sconces right next to walls with nothing protecting the wall from the flame:eek:

I saw that and I was like - is he trying to burn the place down? They do get pretty close to the walls sometimes!

The Saturday episodes are repeated on Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons.

Loved Frank's ceiling - hated Doug's attitude...oh, yeah, and the walls would've had me wanting to KILL him (but you'd never have to stay at the Poly or AKL again - it'd be right in your own home! ;) ) Fergie already mentioned what my reaction to Edward's choice of room color was...ewww...especially when it splatted into the pan...bleh!

Loved, loved, LOVED Vern's planes, trains & automobiles room - not sure how much a 1-year-old will appreciate it - hell, I wanted to do one like that for my sons! :teeth:

Also saw the Mickey Pin on While You Were Out. :)

Cookie, thanks for pointing that out. I forgot about it! The minute I saw it on the designer's beret, I was yelling at my husband to come look! He did a really nice garden for that family.
