Trading QS credits for snack credits

I read last year that you could trade 1 QS credit for 3 snack credits at Food & Wine Festival. Any updates on whether the same can be done this year or will we have to wait until the event starts before we will know - we are going at the beginning of the event anyway.

Also DH doesn't eat very much due to medical reasons so I think we may have a few QS credits left over anyway - can you exchange QS credits for 3 snack credits anyway such as bags of candy and trail mix we can take home? If not, then thinking we will use more QS credits at the booth at F&W and save snack credits until the end of our trip (if same applies as last year)

There were reports of people being able to do so at Flower & Garden, so I'd say your chances are good. Just remember you have to do the exchange at one time at one booth, and if you're getting more than 3 snack items (an alcoholic drink, perhaps?), do them in separate transactions.

By all accounts I've read, you have to get all 3 snacks at one booth.

We did this last year and had success at most booths, but yes all 3 at one booth.

Italy booth would not allow it

The CM running the register has to understand what you want to do. A challenge sometimes, but yes, it can be done.

1. Yes, all three items have to be from the same booth because it has to be done in one transaction. If you are purchasing more than 3 items from the same booth it is better to do the "QS for 3 items" in one transaction. Then, any additional items at the same booth in a separate transaction.
2. No, you cannot split the snacks (e.g. 1 at one booth and 2 at a different booth.)
