Trading Out

Hi. We've been members since 1998 (OKW) and just recently added 100 points at BCV.

I have a search for a week this summer in San Diego, but haven't heard anything yet.

How successful have you all been in trading your points through II? Anything special I should know?

SD is a hard area. If you are successful with II it will likely be at around 2 months out. Personally, I'd look at Donita's Unlimited and San Francisco Exchange. Other exchange companies may be found here at Fern's site . You lose nothing by looking for other options and private exchanges, not to mention that you get access to other resorts not on the DVC exchange list or not even in II. Look at the TUG direct exchange lists to see if you can find someone that works out for you.
