I know that DVC members, and their guests (i.e. someone who rents points), can book the Disney Dining Plan. I am trading into a DVC resort via Interval International. Can I also add-on the Disney Dining Plan? Do I need to purchase my park tickets from Disney?

Thanks!

You can add the dining plan by calling DVC Member Services (you should get the number with your confirmation). The DVC version of the plan does not require you to purchase your park tickets from Disney, you may purchase them from any authorized seller/discounter.

You will need to add the dining plan for the entire week of your II reservation, and for every person staying in your room. Cost if $38.99 per adult per night and $10.99 pe child per night.

Keep in mind that you will be charged a $95 resort fee as an II exchanger. When Disney Member Services collects the fee is totally dependent upon the Cast Member you get when you call in.

I have not been so lucky. Both times I've called MS, I've had to pay the resort fee prior to making any arrangements(DDP, Magical Express, etc).

Others have been luckier and have not had to pay the resort fee until checkin. HTH!
