Trading in a single stroller for a double??

I apologize if this has been addressed before in the hundreds of stroller threads but I don't remember seeing it if it has. If I rent a single stroller for my 2 yo and then realize my 6 yo needs one (we want to play it by ear), can I trade the single in for a double? (and pay the difference in price, of course!!) Thanks

I would rent a double right away. The single strollers are really small. You could put your stuff in the stroller and not have to carry anything, then if your son wants to ride you have that option.
