Trading fixed? Goodbye Scammers

Thanks to Debsangels for pointing this out to me today.

It appears they have fixed trading in some way. When you now go to trade if the other person has no items up you get the following message appear on screen.

Maybe this will put an end to the scams.

It's a good start, and I'm glad the VMK developers are trying to address the scam concerns.

But, it does nothing for the more devious scam of putting up for trade a few good items, then flooding the window with trash, and removing the good items without the victim realizing it.

Still, a good start.

Didn't I see woohoo the other day? try it while in game (I can't get mine to load this morning...I get the VMK Logo then the BSOD, not even a load bar). Or was it wahoo?

Hmmm...

I'm so glad they put this popup in there, but I agree, they also need a popup that says "you are about to trade X for Y, are you sure you want to proceed?"

it did not work for me yesterday but I will try it again today maybe it was the way I typed WooHoo will try it different ways today.

When I typed "Kungaloosh!", someone told me that sounded like a good magic pin incantation, too. (But you know that incantation would not be in that dictionary! LOL!)

Now what would invoke Kungaloosh? In real life, drunks at Pleasure Island.

OT: I got my first set of black ears from the user Kungaloosh!. At that time I didn't know what a kungaloosh was though...you "old and lame" (lame..that's something I don't believe) people sure have taught me well!

Anyways on topic...I do like that new pop-up. It makes giving things feel just a little more special too!

Yes, 'woohoo' is on the useful user name list.

Closest to darn you can get is 'dang' -- another user name.

or 'Don't touch that, it's dead, Kungaloosh!!' "

The namesake drink is like a frozen strawberry daquiri. Extremely sweet, and
yet they cover the top with massive amounts of whipped cream.
