Trading / Collector Pins

Can these be carried onto the ship in your carry on or do they need to be checked?

yup, they sure can be carried onto the ship in your carry on...ive done it on my past 3 disney cruises.

My girls are collectors/traders and I hadn't even thought about trading on the cruise. Is this an option and is is similar to WDW where CM's trade "honestly" with kids?

on our 11/13/04 cruise the CM's traded with my DD's and they got to pick what ever pin they want and wanted to trade with.

The CMs in the shops and at GS were wonderful with the kids on their first pin trading attempt. They took the time to admire their pins & told them which ones they did NOT want to trade and were considered collectable.

I have seen posted that trading pins has been suspended for the CMs.

It was posted in the last couple weeks that pin trading has resumed with the CMs since flue season is over.
