Trading a DVC week into Interval International question

I have never used the Interval trade option but am contemplating depositing a two bedroom OKW week into Interval for a two bedroom week at Harborside Atlantis in the Bahamas, a resort on the DVC/Interval list. Anyone have any past success/tips for getting a successful trade at this resort?

Harborside is tough to get into and Westin members get first crack at it with II. There have been few reports of success and I don't recall a 2 BR given that the units there are lockoff's. You could ask for it but no way I'd deposit first expecting that option, try the request first.

Also, one doesn't deposit a specific resort or unit size. It's just the number of points that match a season, 160 for a HIGH season 1 BR and 270 for a like 2 BR.

I think it depends on the time you go, I know this past February there was plenty of availability, in a 2 bedroom during my kids school vacation, it nearly killed me not to go... but no airfare had been booked, but had I known, I obviously would have booked it before the winter.
