Trader Sam's to AKL

I was thinking we'd take the resort monorail to MK and then catch the bus to AKL but I just saw MK closes at 10pm the night we'll be at Trader Sam's and we will probably stay past 11pm. I'm now thinking our best (only?) bet might be to uber it from the tiki bar back to the hotel. Thoughts?
