Trader Sam's Grog Grotto - Best Days to Visit?

Hello!

We're looking to take a group of almost a dozen adults to Trader Sam's during our trip the first week in June. Does anyone know if there's a better day to head over than others? We're eyeing a Sunday (grab brunch at the California Grill, hop around the monorail loop, and finish there), but would midweek be better?

There is not a better day than any other. Because it is so small, it is very responsive to just the kind of group you hope to bring - if 12 people come at open and settle in, it can be a wait.

I don't think there is any way to game this by picking a particular day of the week. WDW is always busy and Trader Sam's is small. I think your best bet is to get there by 3:15 pm/3:30 pm at the very latest and line up in the hallway. If you don't get in right away, they will give you a pager and will buzz you when space becomes available.

Don't bother with Friday or Saturday evenings. I've tried during both those evenings several times (I think 3 tries now each evening?) and not been able to get in at all. Just too many people waiting ahead of me. Lately I've had good luck on Wednesday or Thursday evenings.

I don't know about Sundays because I'm on my way home at that point.
