i just walked into Trader Sam’s. We got there at 3:50 and got in line. However, when the doors opened they were calling in parties off a list. We got in after about 10 small groups.
We usually go an hour before opening. We get there and someone who works there will put our names down and give us a pager. When its about 15 minutes to opening we usually line up nearby instead of waiting for the pager to go off. Then pager goes off and were right there so we get to run in
You probably juuuust missed when they started taking names at 3:30, then. Was nobody there then?
We went twice our last trip. First time we just missed the pagers when we got there at 3:50 and had to wait while they let the first group in, get a pager, and it took about 45 minutes for it to go off. Second time we got there around 3:15/3:30 and got a pager, then went out on the patio and had a quick drink before going back to the door to wait to be let in. They call names from a list in the order people arrived.
We are looking to visit Trader Sam’s for the first time when we visit in August but looking to go in the evening. Does anyone have any idea what we would be looking at for a wait time in the evening the summer? Are we crazy? It looks like that will be the best time for the grandparents to watch the kiddos.
There is no real predicting, because it depends on how long people linger. TS is really reactive to large groups showing up, or people hanging for a long time. It is small.
