My daughter is having her bachelorette party in Disney World. She would love to go to Trader Sam’s. There are 8 girls on the trip in May included my me. I have been reading up on advice to go early about 2 PM to put your name. Do you think everybody needs to be there at 2 PM? Can I just go and put my name in? Will they give me a roundabout time when we may be called so I can tell the girls to come later? I would just hate for all of us to have to stay and wait at the Poly. Some of the girls have never been to Disney and for others it’s been a long time. I know we only have 15 minutes once our name is called and they will never make it back from the park. Any advice? If I am first in line, does that mean we will get in at 3? I don’t mind going earlier than 2pm.

Yes go at 2 pm and about then a CM will be in the hallway taking names and numbers. They will give you an approximate but depending on how long people stay it could vary. They should know if you will be one of the first in at opening. After that it starts at approx 1 hour. That time fluctuates and later can become 2 hours. But it is completely a guess.

15 minutes. My guess would be have them back 30 minutes before the predicted time. The monorail takes the long way and the boat is great if there is one there at the dock. They need to build in travel time.

I am guessing they drink so a great option while you wait and good for photos is the Lapu Lapu upstairs at the Tambu Lounge. If they would rather nibble something before rather than order appetizers I would suggest going into Capt Cooks they have some good light "Poly" meals.

You should be. And if so have them back before 3. I know it is a pain but it really does create a fair avenue in for EVERYONE. We go often (several CMs know DS) and at least the Poly is a lovely place to wait.

You can go at 2 pm by yourself to get your name and number in your party on the list - I would not go any later than 2 pm if you want to be in the first wave of people (in fact, with a party of 8, you may want to get there around 1:45 pm). The CM will know at that time if you are getting in in the first wave as they only let 50 people in at that time and they will know what number you are on the list when she puts your name down. If you are in the first wave, I would recommend being back in the hallway by Trader Sam's no later than 2:45 pm to hear your name called. I would also highly recommend being in the first wave if you all want to sit or stand together. After the first wave of people, the spaces are first come first served and you are not guaranteed space or seating together. Nor will the host/hostess know an approximate time as it's a "space available" situation - you will only be let in as people leave TS and you never know how long people will linger in there - as long as they are drinking and eating, the servers will not rush them out. If you end up in the first wave, I would text the girls to start heading over to Poly ASAP if they are in a park as it can take quite a while to travel to Poly, even from MK. IMHO, if getting into TS is important to the group, I would all plan to be there no later than 1:45/2:00 pm and just hang at Poly until TS opens - there is plenty to do there, shopping, strolling the grounds or even hanging in Tambu Lounge. Also, if this seems like to much hassle for the group, Enchanted Rose at GF is gorgeous and, while it doesn't have the special effects like TS, it's a great lounge and will be much easier to get into.

Thank you! My daughter and I have been to the Enchanted Rose and it is beautiful. She really wants the fun vibe at Trader Sam’s. I think the girls would enjoy exploring the Poly while we wait. Maybe get a little something to eat.
