Last time we visited the World, we were able to trade in our leftover CS credits for snacks at the end of our trip. We were allowed to get mickey rice krispies, cookies etc.

Is this still allowed?:confused3

I don't know specifically about CS meals, but we were on the deluxe plan and were told we could trade a meal credit for 3 snacks at the Contempo Cafe if we wanted to about a week ago.

The word is that it is no longer allowed as of January 1. But see the above post - you might get lucky - but don't count on it.

We were at Mara last week. I was allowed to trade 1 cs credit for 3 snacks. It was called a "continental combo" when the CM rang it up.

We were at Coronado Springs in May. We had 6 extra counter service. Combination between children and adults. They gave us 18 snacks, without any issue!

In both March & May at PO French Quarter we were told we could only trade CS credit at breakast to make a "continental breakfast"...the ladies at the cash registers had a card that showed exactly what was allowed. The examples were the following 3 snack credit items could be purchased using one counter service credit:

pastry+single serving fruit+beverage=1 counter service
or cereal+single serving yogurt+beverage=1 counter service

there's was one other version on her list, but don't remember what it was...maybe fruit+yogurt+beverage? And she did say you could mix & match on the acceptable items so could do cereal & fruit & beverage for example.

Other than the continental breakfast, they were telling people no on using snack items for counter service meal (a guy asked about taking a bunch of bags of individual chips & cookies to use up his counter service and was told they couldn't do it. She did suggest he take sandwich & chips with bottled beverage for the road.)

We left this morning and it is 3 snacks for 1 dining credit. We came home with 30+ Mickey rice krispy treats. At least she will have a present for all the kids in her day care class .

I was gutted to hear about the NO exchange of CS for snacks rule!
when we was at AKL in 2010 wehad around 12 CS meals left as we had 6 in our party and was there for 21 nights! the kids always shared a CS meal so it ment we had loads of CS left over and also quite a few snacks we ended up taking home something like 72 snack :lmao: which included the huge lollipops bags of Goofys sweets lots of jelly bean bags "made great presents" we ended up with so much that we left 10 sweet items like the bags of lollipops and Gummy's on our bed for our maid to take home to her grandkids that she had told us about, plus quite a few sweets from the MNSSHP as we honestly could not fit them all in our suitcase!

Our boys have asked if we can do it again next trip they will be so gutted to find out that they cant do this,We have upgraded them all to the adult plan so they will share again there CS meals Im proberly going to try and save around 20 of our snack credits for them incase we cant change the QS meals up for 3 snacks "think ill trial it through out the 15 nights"

I have heard more and more being allowed again though to exchange where as there was a time when it was a definate NO in any form from pretty much anyone who asked so who knows :confused3

Looks like you're going to have to ask, and there's no way to tell if you will get yes or no. Ask the cashier before you assemble the snacks. And it may be a good idea to go back to the same cashier to check out.
