That darn dc fairy got me and just one person away from trading! arg But I read that Host_Lily was taking down names of those who dc, I assume to put the pin in their inventory. Hopefully because I cannot get back in that room. Here's hoping.

Back to your regularly scheduled weirdness... If I were willing to change my VMK signature, I think for this month it would be something like.. "Ahoy! Eat a lemon, ye scurvy bumm!"

I lucked out-- didn't even know about the event until I read tolkien7's thread; got in line within 3 tries (again, lucky me), then managed to not dc. Got the pin, but couldn't get an extra 1 for my mom. Oh well. Wonder what the event later on tonight will be? A Pirates' themed quest or something else (it says join the Captain in her quest for lost pirate treasures)?

One of the first to get on line earlier today....14 away....then I got my DC Fairy visit! No pin for me today!

After trying for several minutes to get into the queue, I finally got in at 49.
Then got in the room. As I made my way up to the turnstile, the person in front of me who just was sitting down to trade dc'd. So I went on and sat down made my trade real quick, and before I could click on the globe map to leave the room, I was dc'd.

Boy was I lucky!
If the person in front of my had not dc'd, I would have dc'd prolly in the middle of the trade.
