Tracking arrival of Magic Bands

I'm sure that this is scattered throughout different threads, but I can't find the answer.

I've never cared when MB arrived, before this trip. But for our Oct. trip, I'd like to have them before the end of next week so I can give them to my son while he is visiting us. He & DDIL are arriving on a different day than us.

How do I track MBs to get a date when they will arrive?

You might have a tracking number as a message on your MDE. They come by USPS.
 
Thanks for your help. I did have a tracking # in MDE but when I pasted it into USPS site, they said tracking # cannot be found. I guess I'll call MS tomorrow.
 
Did the message on MDE say when it was shipped? Sometimes it takes a day or so. But if they said it was shipped, I would think you would get it in a few days.
 

Message on MDE doesn't give shipping date, just a tracking #. The MDE phone recording says that MB are not shipped prior to 30 days before trip, which is Oct. 15th. So I guess that is why tracking # isn't working I will probably have to mail MBs to DS & DDIL.
I tried calling MS, but wait was long and I wasn't sure they address this issue.
I am not a MB fan and this, albeit minor annoyance, just goes on my list.
 
Have they used Magic Bands before? If they have an old set, those should work until you can get them the new ones. You just have to make sure they are still active.
 
This is new DDIL's first trip with MBs. DH & I are trying hard to make this an especially good trip for her because she doesn't really like the World. We know we can't make her love it, but we would want her to like it enough for visits with "any grandchildren".
 
Sounds like the reservation was done through your MDE account? If so is this a generic message at the top of your account page? If so, make sure it's the current reservation.

I have 3 old MB shipping messages and several old FP+ change messages that show up that I can't get rid of. When I click on the tracking info on those old messages there's no shipment to be found.

It makes more sense that it's one of those old messages rather than a message about a shipment that shouldn't have happened yet.
 
Not sure how much this helps, but we arrive 10/9 and just got our MBs today (so if that timeline holds, you'd get them this Saturday or Monday I would guess). Just corrected my post, it looks like you posted last week, so my guess is Saturday is your drop dead date - fingers crossed for you!

FYI, we got the "your bands have shipped" message on 10/10 - so only 2 days ago! We're in NC.

Ours took 7 days from the first e mail saying that the Magic Bands have shipped.:scratchin The first day I tried to track via the link, the USPS said no tracking number found. Gave it a day, tracked it, and also set up an e mail message on the USPS website "track a package" so that I got updates. Sure enough, said "out for delivery" on the 7th day and as soon as it was delivered in the mailbox outside, I received an e mail stating that it was delivered. Love either text or e mail update on the USPS site. This way if you are out, you know that the MB's have been delivered. GOOD LUCK!:goodvibes::yes::
