Thanks for posting this. I have had a tracfone for several years, but the on/off button fell off, so I am looking to upgrade to a new phone. I hope they will let me keep the same number. I have been using the head of a nail to turn the phone on and off until I get another one!

It says "$29.99 Prepaid Cell phone with 100 minute card. We can send you 100 more free minutes with the phone." But, the link looks like a regular link to Tracfone and there is no code. Has anyone tried this?

I went ahead and ordered thru this link as the special ends today. The shipping is not free as you are really ordering a minutes card and the phone is a "free gift".

not sure if they are local or national but they have a deal. Get phone and UNLIMITED mins for 40.00 a mth no contracts and you get free long distance too. I heard this on the radio here locally in ATL, GA. but not sure if they are regional, national or just local here.

Does anyone know if the Tracfone minutes expire? I am trying to decide if I should get my son (DD14) another phone with my Cingular account (DD16 already has one for 9.99/month with shared minutes)....or if I'd do better with a Tracfone if the minutes don't expire?

Yes Cindy, Tracfone minutes expire. It depends on what "card" or plan you buy. Go to their site, they explain it.
