Tracfone at WDW

We have a tracfone . Will it work at Disney world? Will it just subtract 2 min since it will consider me roaming ? Never used it out of my home area before. Not sure what to expect.

I live in Ohio and used our Tracfone to try and get CRT ressies last fall. DH was on the home phone. I got through and it was a 6 minute call and it only took 1 unit per minute!

Hi ALL!
While at WDW or on your trip delete your phone log and address book.
Leave only 911 and one one emergency contact in the dir.
if you can activate the lock code, so only you and yours can activate the phone.
Call Trac phone before you go and tell them the zip of WDW so your roaming won't kick in.
Just got a promo call from Trac phone with a code for 30 extra min if you buy a 60 min or higher. offer is good untill 3/20/04 .

I have used my tracphone at WDW with no problems. Cell service is pretty spotty around the parks so you may have to walk around to get a good signal.

I didn't bother with changing my local calling area to WDW beacuse I didn't use it much, just to call home and check on things and to call a friend who was also in the park a couple of times. I just accepted the 2 unit/minute charge for roaming, still cheaper than calling long distance.
