Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

 What a thoughtful way to remember your grandmother. I'm sure she will be smiling from heaven.

Your pictures and DD are wonderful. What a lovely wedding you will have in just a few short weeks.

Champagne does that too me too. Weddings really are so much fun - everyone is so happy. :cloud9:

Your doing great with your exercise too!

What a beautiful way to honour your grandmother. Your grandfather will be touched too. My grandfather died 5yrs ago and I still write to him so I understand how special it is to honour your grandmother. :grouphug:

Great job on your exercising!!! I hope the next 6 weeks go by quickly. How exciting!!

How special that you get to have your dear grandmother's ring as your wedding ring! I'm sure she will be smiling down on you during your special day. Sounds like you have a good day of remembering the good times planned with your grandfather. :thumbsup2

Have you still been getting your 3x a week in at the gym?

:grouphug: Tracey,

Wearing your grandmother's ring as your wedding ring is a wonderful tribute to her and her life. :grouphug: That is such a beautiful and special way to honor her memory. We are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

You are doing a great job with your exercising! Keep up the good work! :cheer2:

Only 6 more weeks now! :Pinkbounc I bet the time will go by fast! :goodvibes

Thursday was tough, grandad liked his invite :) I felt tired & drained by the end of the day though! Cant remember what i ate!
Friday:
i was suposed to go to the gym but i felt really tired & run down (TOM....again only had a 2 week break since last one!!! really heavy & had an 'accident' at work..pretty embarrasing!!) so i didnt go,
we went to a collegues 10th wedding anniversary party in the evening, had a nice time, lovely buffet & i basicaly ate whatever i wanted which included samosa's (about 6 of them!), breaded chk, mini pizza (think i had 3!) spring rolls, cheese bread roll, no dessert though!
I also had a small cake at school (child's b/day bought cake in!) & 2 mini chocolate bars (teachers b/day!)
Today, trying to get back on track!
B/fast- usual
lunch - chk salad, water
dinner - not sure, might end up going to the chip shop!!

Gary has gone away on his stag night (batchelor night!) for the weekend, :(
he left this morning & will get home tomorrow (Sunday) night, they have gone to the coast. I cryed when he left this morning, i'm missing him sooo much, it kinda made me realise how much i do love him, i think because we have been together 10yrs theres not so much romance even though we're getting married, but we are never apart & it has made realise i am with the right man!!
My SIL wanted me to go out tonight but i just want to cuddle up on the sofa with DD, so i made up a really lame excuse
Which means i will proberbly comfort eat tonight popcorn::
Hope everyones having a great weekend
Tracey xx

That is sweet that you still miss him after 10 years! I think that means you made the right choice! :thumbsup2

I think you will be able to get back on track after your party. Hopefully you don't overindulge too much while your DF is gone! Hang in there, he'll be back before you know it! :goodvibes

I agree! :thumbsup2 It sounds like you've made a wonderful choice for a husband. I actually feel the same way when my dh has to go away on business.

I hope you're feeling a bit better now. I'm glad you're taking some down time for yourself. We all need it from time to time! Watch any chick flicks? :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Sounds like you have found your "Mr. Right" Just a few more weeks until your wonderful wedding vacation!

I hope you and your DD had a nice girls weekend together.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and weight loss! I have lost 35 lbs. and have kept it off, (give or take 5lbs.) for about 7 years. I lost it on Weight Watchers, and yes, stayed for the dreaded meetings, and weighed in once a week with them, which held me accountable. I exercise 5-6 days to lose, and 4-5 to maintain. And when I don't I really feel crappy, physically and mentally. Hope this helps, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! :yay: P.S. I find a.m. exercise, for me, is best, get it done early and you have energy for the day.

Hi Tracey,

I hear ya WISH sis... With my DH away so much the past couple of weeks, I miss him terribly when he is not home so I completely understand where you are coming from. :grouphug: I bet his arrival home on Sunday was a good one! :yay: :love2: I'm glad that you have found your Mr. Right, Tracey! Just think... in just a few weeks, you'll be celebrating your lives together with ::MickeyMo and ::MinnieMo.... another happy couple! :teeth:

Have a good Monday, my friend. :sunny:

What a nice way to remember your grandmother!

I bet you're getting so excited as the wedding gets closer. Sounds like a great guy you have there. :thumbsup2

Those cuddly girl nights are a nice time, aren't they? I got into a routine with my 2 girls (11 and 13 yrs.) since DH worked nights for a long time. Now his schedule changed and he's actually here in the evenings, so our Friday night "girls nights" are over. :guilty:

Keep up the good work with exercising, the time will fly until the wedding. :sunny:

Hi Tracey,

Just got caught up with you. Those wedding pictures were incredible. Your daughter and you both looked gorgeous! What a setting. You must be getting incredibly excited for your own big day. And I think that is so special you are wearing your grandmother's ring. As someone else said, what a way to salute her life and your new one. Sounds like you are doing so well with food and exercise. Keep up your good work, you'll be a married woman at WDW before you know it!

Did you give any more thought to Coronado Springs?

So not sure what they are going to get us doing!! so hopfully i will have the energy to go to gym afterwards!!! Friday i am on a school trip all day, so its a hectic few days to come

Great job getting those veggies in! :thumbsup2 I can't wait until it cools down here so I can make some veggie soup. I just can't eat soup when it is over 90 degrees outside...

You are going to be one busy girl this week! Hopefully you will be able to get all of your exercise in and stay on track with your eating. You'll be in FL before you know it! :teeth:

Hi Tracey~

I'm glad to hear that Gary made it home okay. :goodvibes Did you have your party yet?

I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. TOM can certainly put a damper on things can't it? :( :grouphug:

You sound like you have a lot going on in the next few weeks. That should make the time go by faster until your wedding is here and then you're at WDW! :Pinkbounc

Have a great Thursday! :sunny:

Glad to hear Gary's back home! I had a two week between gigs with my TOM too and I must say its a bummer. Really takes it out of you and I get the headaches too. The joy of womanhood! Your food looks good, you are doing just incredible!

amy

Glad Gary is back. You sure are busy for the next few weeks. Before you know it, you'll be packing for FL!! You are eating great and exercising tons, and drinking lots of water!! :cheer2: :cheer2: Keep up the good work!

Hi all :)
Well i've finished my 2 day training course on handling children with disabilities, it was really good & met some lovely people!
It was a real eye opener on 2 levels: the 1st on just how much damage can be done to your spine through bad posture!!!
The 2nd was an insight into the lives of disabled children, the people who care for them & their parents/carers & how a disabilty effects them. I really feel i've had my eyes opened for me!! & i appreciate how lucky i am to be resonably fit & healthy :)

Tomorrow: school trip :) pray the rain stays away....for a change!!
Food:
yesterday (tuesday)
b/fast - slice of low carb toast with no added sugar apricot jam, earl grey
lunch - well...lunch was provided at the course & i thought hmmm well funded special school theres bound to be a choice so i'll have the healthy option...there were sandwiches & cakes!!! so i had about 5 sandwiches & a cake!! In my defence they were small sandwiches!!
dinner - low carb spag/bol
was going to go to the gym but had to get a black t-shirt for DD who decided to tell me 20 mins before leaving the house for school that she needed 1 today for choir practice!!!! stressed....yes! Had to send her to school with a black tinkerbell t-shirt turned inside out! DD gets home from school ask her if she wore it...'no we didnt need one afterall' **!!$%!* after I get home from buying the t-shirt i was going to go to gym then but mum is sat on garden waiting for me, so i think i'll go when mum leaves...as mum leaves neighbour comes over....her DH left her again, 3rd time!!! so i didnt get to gym :)
This morning DD tells me she needs shin pads for PE... TODAY, had to go over the road & wake neighbour to ask if we could borrow her sons!! as DD was freaking she thought she would get detention!
After dropping DD off at school, i went home turned on house alarm to leave for my course then realised it was throwing it down with rain so quickly unlocked the door rushed into kitchen to get umbrella...forgetting how slippy the floor is when wet, crashed to the ground landing on my right hip, shoulder & knee, trying to clamber up in agony to get the alarm turned off before it went off!!!
I am impressed though...i bounced pretty good, & normally i am in pain for a while but got over it pretty quick, put that down to being healthier :)
Today (Thursday)
b/fast - slice of low carb toast with no added sugar apricot jam, earl grey
lunch - took my own today, low carb sandwich, cheese & strawberries
dinner - baked potato with cheese, chk & bacon on top & chk portion on the side
GOT TO THE GYM :)

Yay, you finally made it to the gym! :cheer2: Ouch on the fall, glad you didn't injure yourself too bad. About the only thing worse than slipping on a slippery floor is slipping on ice.

Great job bringing your own lunch the second day. Sometimes it's really hard to resist the provided goodies!

Hi Tracey,

Oh my goodness! :( I'm so sorry to hear about your fall! I hope you are feeling better! :grouphug:

Way to go on getting to the gym! :cool1:

I hope you have a great Friday! :sunny:
