TPV v Club?

Less than 60 days out and I still can't decide on a resort(s) lol. My new dilemma is: TPV or club level. Specifically TPV at Poly or GF v Club at GF (outer building). It will be DH and I with our three kids, ages 5, 2, and 2. I like the idea of club for easy access to drinks and snacks, especially for our kids. I like TPV for the view obviously and DH and I being able to see Wishes after the kids have gone to bed. I wish there was a TPV club at Poly because that would solve all my problems haha.

So, I need opinions please, which would be better? TPV or club?

Between the two, I would choose Club. I liked TPV, but on our last trip we stayed club, garden view at the Grand. The kids loved it! To be honest, while the adults might have appreciated the view, the girls did not care one bit. They liked the breakfast, having a cook beverage and cookies in the afternoon, and teats at night. The adults appreciated breakfast and snacks during the day, and I was good with the wine.

I think there is a lot of magic in a great view but I understand how the club level is more practical. As for me, I'm a sucker for the magic.

There are TPV rooms in Ply CL, unless you mean that there aren't any available for your trip? I would go with Poly CL either garden view or TPV, if possible. Otherwise, I would choose the Poly TPV. SL in the GF is nice, too, but the Poly has a special place for us and now that construction is done, it is once again our first choice.

All of your options are fantastic, though!

Enjoy!

LOL! There were 9 of us last AUgust, all of us pretty different. By the end of the trip that glass of wine was magical! LOL!

JK, but we did get a lot of traction using the lounge, it was a nice respite for us.

I think that's the way we're headed. I love the idea of being able to see wishes from our room but in the end it makes more sense to stay club level.

Me too, that's my problem lol.

Yes, sorry, I mean there are none available to book. We're going over Memorial Day Weekend and my indecisiveness hasn't done us any favors. I currently have like three different stays booked. Poly is pretty popular though so I haven't been able to find much there for anymore than 2-3 days at a time in club level.

Either way you'll have a great time. If I remember correctly, TPV can be a little cheaper. The money 'saved' can go towards the snacks and drinks you want.

OK, so the Poly CL isn't available for your entire stay. Fair enough. If regular TPV is available at the Poly, that would be my first choice, then. Just buy your snacks and use room service.

Otherwise....
The GF outer building CL (Sugar Loaf) is basically like staying in a garden view room but with breakfast, beverages and snacks included. It is a convenient location and the CL snacks at the GF are very good.

If you choose the GF....
Would you rather have the convenience of the food prepared and ready in the small 'lobby' area of the outer building and stay garden view OR would you prefer a TPV and have to buy your snacks, etc to eat in your room or in a restaurant?

I am thinking that I would probably book the TPV in the GF. You can go buy the snacks that you would have in SL and it is often more convenient to eat elsewhere, rather than have to return to the hotel. The only real benefit is breakfast and you could easily order room service for less $ than CL. TPV is very magical, IMO.

I would pick CL. We've done both and, quite honestly, I got bored with the TPV view after 2 nights. At least with CL, we got some food out of the deal.

We once stayed GF-Lagoon View and requested 4th floor Boca Chica. We had a great side view of the fireworks! We saved quite a bit over TPV and CL, by simply booking that category and buying our own snacks and drinks.

TPV at both poly and gf is more expensive than CL sugarloaf. I'm now toying with five nights TPV at Poly and six nights sugarloaf at GF. Ugh I need to stay for like a month next trip so I can fit in all the resorts I want to try lol

TPV. Club level at Disney isn't all that great. Well, I've never stayed in the main building at the GF. That might be worth it!
