I am starting to feel better. Dr. said it is a virus going around houston. Gave me some Allegra D for the congestion and some cough medicine. Drink plenty of fluids, etc etc etc.

Don't know yet about vacation plans.

I did get picked in the Houston Rodeo ticket lottery to buy 4 tickets for Hannah Montana show. DD will be excited. I wish it was for Green Monster tickets.

Congrats on scoring the Hannah Montana tickets, your DD will be thrilled! I took my DD and her best friend to the concert here in Worcester the friday before Christmas, and they are both still talking about it! It was Hannah and the Jonas Brothers, I heard that the JB's aren't performing with her on this leg of her tour though! Have fun at the concert, it was a mad house when we went....picture thousand of screaming girls!

Plan a trip up here this summer, I'll get you those green monster tickets!

Going back to work this morning means the Holiday season is over for me. It was a great holiday despite having this lingering cough.

Now begins my new year doldrums. Does anyone else find it hard to get going in this New Year. A year ago I was doing the final planning for WDW trip and that was fantastic. With no plans in the future I am sort of down. DW does not like WDW at all and will probably never go back.

I was bummed this morning, knowing that I actually had to work a full week this week! The past 2 weeks have been 3 day work weeks! I think I could definately handle that on a permanent basis!

Sounds like you have the winter blues, hang in there big guy....spring training is just around the corner!

Would your wife get mad if you planned a WDW trip without her, maybe send her to a spa with friends or a sister, while you and the kids go to WDW???

Yes it is! Gotta get my Patriots to another Superbowl win first though, then I'll be focused back on the Red Sox's again!

It's gorgeous here too....mid 50's! Too bad I'm stuck in an office until 4:00 today...then I get to go and sit in a dance studio until 6:30! Day will be done before I get home tonight!

It has gotten cold here in Houston. From 78 yesterday to mid 60's today. Tig, I hate having Spring Fever. It just makes me want to take off and sit on the beach all day when I have a bunch of work to get done. Perhaps just a quick margarita though will help the problem.

Going to the Super Bowl would be awesome, especially with the Pats in it. When the SB was here in Houston it was a wild week before the game. Celebs were all over the place and there were SB events all week long. It was fun.
