Hi Tracy, I hope you are feeling better today!:) I have really been thinking about you lately, I know this has been a tough time in some ways, but you just hang in there. Remember, God has a plan. Have a good weekend, hope you did get that nap and some time to read!:hug:

Thanks everyone!:hug:

Good morning friends,

The past few days have been rough. This cold/flu thing has been very tough to shake. I have been laying around watching TV and reading books the past couple of days. I feel somewhat better today, but no where near 100%.

We have a busy weekend ahead of us....Two soccer games, a birthday party, some Christmas shopping (clearance section), church, and work. I will rest as much as I can.

I probably won't be able to get to journals until Monday. Everyone is in my thoughts and prayers.:grouphug:

Hi Tracy
sorry your not feeling great,
sending some :wizard: for a speedy recovery
I loved reading your mini trip report :)
We love Boma too & are hoping to try le Cellier on our next trip!
Take care, have a great weekend & try not to overdo things :hug:

Sorry to hear you are still sick Tracy :(

:hug: Get yourself better!!! Definitely rest as needed and take good care of yourself. Thinking about you and sending some "get well" PD your way!!!!

Hi Tracy,

Don't worry about journals. We'll be around.;) Feel better and get as much rest as you can with your busy schedule.

Take care,
Beth

Hey Tracy--I hope you are feeling better! :wizard:

Sounds like you had a busy weekend, and I hope all that went well.

After reading your trip report, sounds like you guys had a great time. I have reservations at some of the same restaraunts that you ate at in my upcoming trips so I am glad to hear you liked them!!

Hope you are feeling better soon!

Hi Tracy,

Just popping in to say hi. Hope you are feeling better. Have a great Monday.

Take care,
Beth

Thanks everyone for stopping by.:grouphug: I'm still not feeling well and just realized this morning that I may have shared my cold/flu with my DDs. They are sniffling, coughing, and complaining of sore throats. :(

I started off the day with grand plans: homeschooling, laundry, online research for my DH, e.t.c., but I may just take one more day off to heal and see what happens.

I do need to spend some time today working on plans for my DD6's and my dad's 60th birthday party. We decided to combine the two parties to save time and money. I have lots of planning to do since it's November 4th, but I just don't feel up to it. :(

So, we'll see how the day progresses. Maybe if we are feeling better after a healthy breakfast, I'll take the girls for a leisurely walk to our local pizza place for a nice lunch.

I'll be back in a few minutes to update my goals for the year....

A couple of things I forgot to mention:

1. Happy Birthday, Epcot!!!!:bday: They talked about it on our local radio station here in Cleveland this morning. Epcot is our favorite park at WDW so we'll have to find a way to celebrate today!party:

2. We have only 60 days until we go back to WDW for our annual winter trip. :banana: The good news is that it is already paid for through deejaying and rewards programs. Any extra money I earn through the rewards programs will go towards the trip. Also, when we stay at BCV, we added the dining plan to our stay, but I budgeted too much money for it and now we have $200 in extra Disney Dollars for Christmas presents!:banana:

3. We spoke to the hospital about our bill and they are willing to negotiate the price with us and will be happy to put us on a budget plan. Whew!:goodvibes

Goals for The Year Update:

1. Lose 20-25 pounds before WDW in September. Obviously, this goal was not met in time. I did weigh myself this morning and I lost 3 pounds last month to put me at 215. TOM is coming so maybe there's some extra water weight in there as well. I am changing this goal to be that I would like to lose 5-10 pounds before we go to WDW in December.

2. Savings account. We took a serious hit on our savings account last month. While I was in the hospital, my DH deposited a check that was supposed to go into savings into checking and the money got spent. We really need to build this back up.

3. Pay off debt...Still working on card #3. (Slowly, but surely)

4. Become a better cook. Nothing happening here.

5. Organize my time better... This kind of fell apart in September. :( I will try to get back on track in October, but I have to get better first in order to get some serious organizing going.

Rewards Programs:
Nothing :sad1:

All in all, September was a tough month for my goals. Later on this week, I hope to come up with a plan to better work on my goals for the rest of the year.

Have a great day!:grouphug:

Hey there!!! Glad you are little better!!! Hope you are back to 100% soon! Yay for the hospital bill! I know that is a little stress off your shoulders! I know Sept was for a rough month for you, but you did have some successes! Celebrate those!!! :cheer2: Today is the start of a new month! There will be more success to come!!!

Hope you have a great day!
Stacie

HI Tracy-

Sorry to hear you and your DD's are still not feeling so good. But I am glad to hear you are taking some time to rest a little bit!

Don't worry about September's goals, you are going to have some not so good months. October is going to be better! I think your goal of losing 5-10 lbs before your december trip is a reasonable goal! And 60 days! till WDW again...do you know what that means...about 60 days till my family trip to WDW!! :cheer2: :cheer2: Thanks for reminding me, now I am really psyched!!!

I am so glad to hear that you worked out the bill with the hospital, that must be a HUGE relief for you.

Hang in there!

Good morning friends,

Still not feeling well today. :( Yesterday was a rough day....I had a major headache all day long. Didn't get anything done either.:sad2: I need to shake this thing and soon.

Being sick has one advantage...It allows you to slow down a bit because you have no other choice. It has given me some time to think too.

Plans for today:

* Library

* Walmart

* Relax

I have some work I need to do for DH...I will try and come back later and get to journals. Have a great Tuesday!:grouphug:

HI Tracey!!! Sorry you're still not feeling well!!! Hope you are better soon! Do try to get some rest and relax some. Give yourself time to get better!!! :hug:

Stacie

Hi Tracy
I've got the sore throat, headache thing too!!!
Maybe you passed it through cyber space ;)
Glad you sorted the hospital bill out - one less worry is always a good thing!
Have a good week :)

Hi Tracy,

I hope you are feeling better this morning. You still need to rest though. Perhaps a nap is in order today?

I am happy to say,"I told you so." Sorry, I never get to say that. I couldn't resist. I am so glad to hear that the hospital will work with you about the medical bills. If it is still too much, feel free to contact them again and renegotiate. They will work with you. Just something to keep in the back of your mind.

Take care of yourself,
Beth

Thanks Stacie, Tracey, and Beth. :grouphug: I'm glad you were right, Beth!:thumbsup2

I am feeling somewhat better today. I still have some congestion and some coughing, but I am feeling better than I have in awhile. I'd say I'm at about 85%.

Since I am starting to feel better, I am going to try and come up with some goals for October soon. I need to get back to exercising and eating healthier soon.

Today's Plan:

* Homeschool

* Clean the house up a bit

* Finish the invitations for the birthday party

* Finish planning the party

My DH is working this morning and should be home early this afternoon. I'm hoping to hit a few thrift stores after he works on the car a bit. I'd like to start eBaying again since we could use some extra money.

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!:grouphug:

Hey Wish Sis, I think you did pretty darn good on your goals for September considering your trip and your illness. Life happens and you got through it! Glad you are feeling better, and like Beth, I TOLD YOU SO! Hospitals are so used to people who don't pay their bills, that anybody who does is their new best friend. I also agree with Beth (man, she and I are both brilliant) that if the amount gets tough, just call them to negotiate a new amount. They just like you to keep them informed of your situation.

You can make those goals for October, and I think your three pound loss is awesome. If you don't want it, I'll take it!

Keep your chin up, and rest, rest, rest! Thats how you get well. Great news that you over saved for your December WDW trip!:banana:

:hug: Here's to feeling 100% better!!! I think it's a great idea to look at some goals and figure out what you want to shoot for now :). You did a great job with your last set so I know you can be successful with this next set!!! :thumbsup2

Have a great day :sunny:!!!
