Ours was crazy, too. We never made it inside. They weren't handing out tickets or anything to ours. No one was outside to direct people to the end of the line and people were crowded up at the doors. Then another line formed on the opposite end. It was absolutely ridiculous. I'm shocked that no one was hurt. Toys R Us really dropped the ball. They estimated over 1000 people were in line or crowded outside the store and they were doing nothing to make sure people were being fair and safe.
Target does an awesome job of crowd control during Black Friday. I witnessed several of their employees barring people from the entrance because they didn't stand in the proper line.
I think I'm going to send off two emails, one to Toys R Us and one to Target.

Hats off to those of you with the patience and tolerance for the pushing, shoving, and generally having to throw-down to get the stuff!
And I'd still tell you honestly I'm not a Type A person, either!!
