I have to look at the flier, but does it include Lego Duplo stuff too? Mine are too little for the regular Lego stuff and those sets are pretty pricey also.

This is a great sale. I got Monopoly, Sorry, and Scrabble today. They are $7.99 each. I had a $4 coupon for Sorry, $5 coupon for Scrabble and got Monopoly free. My kids already have these games but for $5.99 I got 3 board games to donate to charity. I also pre-ordered the Tinkerbell movie and got to use $5/$25 toys r us coupon because they took this one off first and then the board game coupon. I used an old gift card that had money on it so no money out of pocket for me. I still have to go back and pick up legos and other items but I don't get paid until Thursday so my budget won't allow it any sooner. Hopefully the shelves won't be bare when I am able to go back this week.

The scrabble coupon came in a card game. I think it was the scrabble or monopoly card game. There were packs that had coupons in them. The coupons are good until Dec. 2012.

I'm going to try and get there today. Sounds like you did what I want to do. My kids had indoor recess yesterday and were complaining that the only games were for the little kids. . .Candy Land, etc. So I think these will become teacher gifts.

Technically I don't know. The coupon does say not valid on prior purchases. So your store probably would not allow it but if you thought it was worth your time and effort and thought it was the right thing to do you could always return the items and repurchase with the coupon.

Check your USA weekend from Sunday's paper. There are 2 $4 off coupons n there. One for Monopoly, Life, Clue, or 50th anniversary Sorry and another for Pictureka, Operation, Connect 4 or Guess Who.

Christmas shopping with dh is so fun. The kids big gift is a trip to Disneyland and then to play in the snow so we weren't really going to buy anything else. They are getting a gift from Santa, a big gift from us, and then whatever else I had already bought throughout the year. Anyway, I just planned on getting 3 small Lego sets but dh was with me and started getting into it. He ended up choosing two larger $45-$50 sets and we got the Advent calender for free. These kids are going to be so happy on Christmas morning. It will also be fun opening up each day on the calender and counting down to Christmas.
