Toyko dining and illuminations

I have a 7:50 ADR at Toyko Dining with the goal of finishing dinner and then heading outside to the balcony to watch illuminations. Is this timing feasible? Or will the balcony already be too crowded by then to find spots for my party of 7? If we haven't finished our meal yet, is it ok to briefly leave the table to watch the fireworks? TIA.

Not knowing the day or the crowd projections it is hard to say what the crowds will be...the time *should* work, we had a 7:45 ADR there and finished in plenty of time (our waitress even suggested we didn't need to rush off and could watch from our table) but we went outside and we pretty much alone there...Of course this was a Wednesday Night...in mid December.
