I remember some talk of maybe a Toy Story breakfast/dinner-did this plan just get scrapped or was it just a rumor?

This is not only a rumor, but a crusade of parents like me with 3 boys. Dining with the Princesses is wonderful, but we are trying to get equal time for the guys! Call, write or email WDW and add your voice to the chorus asking for a boy-oriented character meal.

Don't bother with the e-mail route. I tried that and got a "leagal" letter back letting me know they had destroyed my e-mail, because they don't take business ideas for people outside the company. I guess they feel some people would expect compensation. I have let the dining operators know my complaint though and they have told me they would pass it on.

Thats exactly what they excpect. A while back, I e-mailed a suggestion that they use one of the extra channels on the tvs at the resorts to list daily menus for the restaurants at wdw. I even told them that I did not expect any compensation, I just thought it was a good idea for people to make up their mind about which restaurant to eat at during the day based on what was on the menu. I still got the same reply, :" destroying your e-mail"!
