Toy Story replacement in the works?

I hope it lasts until June 2016! I really want to see it since Toy Story is my favourite Pixar film.

The notice Scott posted said the show would begin performances "Late Spring" 2017. So I'm guessing, the PC Repo or Alaska cruises.

My guess is that Toy Story is here until the dry dock, so through the EBPC. The notice said that they'll start rehearsing the new production in Toronto in late summer.

Oh please please PUH-LEEEEEZZZZ no Frozen on the Wonder post-drydock in November! Please!!! Or at least announce it prior to the PIF date to give me a chance to decide. I loathe, yes LOATHE, Frozen. I know, someone will ask, "Really? You would cancel a cruise because of a show?" Frozen? Yes. Yes, I would. It is in the realm of possibility.

Toy Story ending was previously announced months back and isn't new news. In August I was told Frozen was replacing it, and another show, another ship. It was in my trip report. This is quite old news.

Not everyone reads trip reports. Nor would someone who is new be likely to have seen any discussion in the main forum regarding this if it took place months ago. So it's not old news to everyone.

With the Frozen deck party (which IMHO was awful), you would think they wouldn't do a second Frozen show but I guess it is all about Frozen!

I agree that the whole Frozen day on the Wonder last year was pretty lacking. I do like the movie and would watch a show but they could improve the Frozen day.

For whatever it is worth, we actually enjoyed the Frozen deck show and are looking forward to Frozen as a main show.

We found it extremely comical when our 17 year old ( who looks like a man) was sleeping on Woody and Buzz

I hear ya. I'm OK with just avoiding anything Frozen but my DD won't set foot on the Wonder anymore. She was so glad that we did Alaska the year before they started the Frozen stuff.
And this was a girl that liked the movie OK when it first came out but has just gotten so tired of it (between DCL and Disneyland). She has been a Disney fan her whole life but Frozen has driven her away :(

Unfortunately Disney has found a huge cash-cow in frozen so they are gonna milk it til it's udders are drier than the Sahara. Along with Star Wars and Marvel of course.

When the zoetrope was moved for those Frozen b's I about lost my sh** altogether. Seriously. If my husband isn't the holder of our passwords to the accounts I would've sold our stock on the spot. I was shaking mad. It's not even a great movie. Mediocre at best.

Yep. It's hard to argue in some ways. As a stockholder I'm like "Yes. All the people buy all the things and spend all your money regardless of how not great it is." But the fan in me is: :crazy2:!

You nailed it. Star Wars? My 18 yro has always been a crazy big fan. But leave it to Disney to over-hype and over-expose. Before Christmas I showed him some cute, witty SW stuff and his response was, "It's not even that cool anymore. It's not special when it's everywhere." Ya don't say???? And that's what Disney does.

My DS likes Star Wars too but after seeing the moving and checking out all the changes at DL (Hyperspace Mountain, etc), he is getting over it already too. I'm sure there will be a renewed interest in SW land for my DS when it opens and we will probably make a trip to go see it. But sadly, after 15 years as AP'ers, we let ours expire this year. My kids are done. They don't like the changes. I'm going to be the one to miss going the most ;)
