Toy Story Parking Lot?

Does the bus from Toy Story parking lot really only leave every 20 mins? With the massive people who park in there, you'd assume they'd come more frequently during opening and closing of the parks. Tossing around the idea of riding ART from the ALO Hotel where we are staying or driving to Toy Story to park, then take the bus. Trying to figure out which route would be faster.

We used the TS lot the whole week we were there around Halloween. The buses were flowing constantly. The only time we waited for a bus was one morning right at park opening and there were a TON of people waiting. Bus after bus came with a couple of minute lull in between one every now and then. Even so, it still only took us ten minutes to get on.
At park closing, there were lines of buses waiting to take people back to the lot.
We chose to park in the TS lot vs. the Art because it was the same money-wise (maybe a bit more) but the buses were far more frequent.

I've never heard of buses leaving only every 20 minutes..ART buses yes on their routes but not Toy Story. There can be a wait at the end of the day as they need to assist those with wheelchairs or other needs first for safety but the line moves steadily even when wrapped around. However there has always been a constant stream of buses in every experience using it over the last 3 years.

As the other posters have confirmed, the buses to and from the Toy Story Parking lot are constant, just like the trams to and from the Mickey and Friends Parking lot. I park at Toy Story all the time and rarely have to wait more than a minute or two (unless it's peak time). If I am leaving the parks just after fireworks or at another busy time, there can be a long line to wait for the buses (which are constantly arriving). In that case, I personally prefer to walk back to the parking lot (about 10-15 minutes walk).

do they run for early entry? we will be staying at the new homewood suites and plan on using this lot

We are planning on staying at the new Homewood Suites as well and hoping to catch the Toy Story Shuttle. Do you just board the bus or does the driver ask for parking lot ticket??

Unfortunately this isn't something you can plan on. We were going to use it for MM this summer but it was closed. We were driving so diverting to Mickey wasn't a problem. But if you're carless, another option to get to the the parks for MM is necessary (walk, uber/taxi, art.)

They do not require you to be parked there to hitch a ride so just get in line and hop on! Enjoy :)

Thank you! This was my thought. It will cost us about $4 more to park at Toy Story versus take ART from our hotel. The ART route says every 30 mins, and I am not sure if that is always how long the wait is between buses or just at the slowest time.
The Toy Story bus is actually posted on the ART schedules, which is where it says 20 mins. I'll take everyone's word that the buses are constant pretty much. I will anticipate a 15 min wait each way (better safe than sorry!) since we'll be in the parks on Dec 29th & 30th, and unless it rains (I am praying LOL) it will be a big sardine can LOL
