Toy Story or Rockin Roller Coaster?

We always fastpass Toy Story and since we rope drop go immediately to Rock and Roll. This system will be tested this year because the 7 year old wants to do Jedi Training which means heading in another direction as soon as we get in to sign up.

In theory, if you get there about 45 minutes before park opening, I've heard they let you in far enough to sign up for Jedi training. And we have the same issue, so I'm hoping it works that way when we're there! I did briefly consider a PPO breakfast at H&V for two of us just to guarantee that would work, but nothing available and I didn't really want to spend the money.
