Just wondering how long the line has been lately?

When we went in April the line was over 30 minutes long and my 2 year old son was freaking out cause he couldn't understand why we could not go on the ride when he wanted.

So we have a trip planned for November 5th, I am hoping the line is shorter. It was my sons favorite ride.

The lines are still long. Last Sunday I waited in a 40 min. line.

The line was 30 minutes or more most of the time we were there in mid-september. The only time it was shorter, about 15 minutes, was close to park closing time, during the parade.

The 3 times we went last week it was 30-40 min each time.

We recently got the new Toy Story Midway Mania game for the Wii....it's awesome!!....except for the 3d part...the glasses they give you are the stupid red and blue ones....does not even look 3d.... but the game itself is really awesome..... just like the games they have there...we've been practicing so we can improve our scores! Lol...

The only solid way to get minimal ride line is to go in the morning.

But then you're waiting outside the park from about 9am to 9:30 when they open, then you go to a rope (near Grizzly or somewhere around-ish bug's land) and wait there until 10.

So...it's a line at the ride or two lines before full park opening.



The nice thing is that going to Disney can teach kids about waiting in line, waiting your turn, finding other things to do or think about while waiting...happy little lessons that will make his life easier, thanks to early Disney trips.

I have TSMM for my itouch. It's fun but my hand gets sore if I play too much just like on the ride.

It also says if you turn on TSMM and stand at the entrance to the ride, you get a surpise. It didn't say if you had to have iphone or if an itouch would work too.

The lines were about 30-40 minutes this Sunday to Wed. everytime we checked. One time we went single rider, waited 5 minutes and got to sit together. The next time the single rider line was very long and it seemed like they weren't really loading single riders very efficiently. Yesterday they didn't have a single rider line at all and we waited 40 minutes about an hour beore closing. I really wish this one had fastpass.

I get my new iphone in November...our provider is finally going to be carrying them....I"ll be sure to try this in December when we are there!

The TSMM app costs $5 but I like it and think it is pretty good. It is actually my most expensive app. All the others I have now are free. Let us know if you got it to work there.

We went in March and waited at rope drope and went straight to the ride. We still waited about 20 minutes (at least) and when we got off, the wait time was already at 45 minutes. I wish they'd make a FP for this one!!!!

I've got a question about the Single Rider line. I'm always at DL with a big group so I guess I've never paid attention to it. I get the concept of how it works but do you stand in a different line? Do you have to tell a CM that you want to go as a single rider? I don't ever recall seeing anything (on any ride for that matter) about single rider lines.

The single rider entrance is to the left. The sign isn't very big, if I remember right. The time can really vary. Often it's only about 5 minutes. Sometimes it takes as long as the regular line.

The nice thing about the Toy Story line is that someone (in your case one adult and the 2 yr. old) can easily rejoin their party right before the line goes inside. People are usually very understanding about one adult and a little one joining their party partway into the line. Wandering around the boardwalk for part of the line time should help some.

I was surprised since I've never heard that option offered on any other ride. Anyway, I heard several people say they preferred to go alone. I imagine that could impact the SR line significantly.

That was a couple of weeks ago and we never saw a wait time of less than 30 minutes for TSMM.

Going alone also gives you a lot more targets to hog all for yourself. I think I got my highest score when I rode alone, but I wouldn't have said no to having a single rider join me.
