Toy Story Mania

All of the recent articles I have read (AP, Disney Visa and AAA literature) indicate "Spring 2008". Not very precise, are they?

I wish they would just give a date. I am trying to plan my vacation around it. I don't want to be there when it first opens. Do you think I will be risking it if I plan for June 15-21?

I believe the ride will be open by then. My guess (and it's just a guess) is that it will be open for soft openings in late April and by mid-May they will have the "official" opening before Memorial Day Weekend. However, that's just my guess.

I just got back today from the park and noticed that the boards around the construction say "Summer 2008". I thought the opening had been publicized as "Spring 2008", so I wonder if the date change is recent.

Yeah, I'm looking at two pieces of marketing materials in front of me: one from AAA and one from Disney Visa, both say it is opening in Spring 2008. Guess they're running behind.

same thing happened at WDW. initially they said spring, but have since moved it to summer. i heard they were having some problems with the technology

Yeah I have heard the summer, but like Nemo, I bet that they will have it up and running by mid summer. I cant see them not having a well waited out NEW ride ready for the summer season. Its so exciting. I keep checking to see if Al Lutz will write anything on it on www.miceage.com

I am sure as soon as he hears confirmation he will let us know.

Great! I really wanted to enjoy this ride with my family but we will be there 5-10 through 5-15. Oh well!

Where exactly is this ride going to be located at in the parK?

paradise pier.. under? california screamin'.. around there.

It would be so cool if they let resort guests ride 30 minutes before park opening, like Soarin'. . .
