toy story mania with an 8 month old??

I was reading about this ride and it said you can't have your baby ride on your lap. Is this true?? I can't see putting him in a seat next to me. If anyone has ridden with a little one let men know.

Also, when getting fp's, we will have a 2 year old and an 8 month old that obviously won't have fp's, will they still let us through?

They will let the little ones through without a fastpass if they are too young for a ticket.
I'm pretty sure the little one will have to ride bedise you. Mine was a bit older last trip (2) but she was sleeping, and they had us put her between us in the seat.

You need two hands to work the "gun", or at least I did. If you have a baby pack that would hold the baby to you while you shoot...then maybe. But, I'd be a little worried about when the cars swing around the corners. You might want to help support the baby then.

do you think I would be better off letting my dh and dd2 ride it and I sit out with the baby?

Me, DH and DD all sat in the same seat and DD sat in between my legs and she was 6 at the time. I think you should be fine with her on your lap. If they say something, put her next to you and then put her on your lap once you get going. But they didn't tell us anything about DD sitting between my legs.

I wouldnt put an 8 month old on toy story mania. We rode it in August and it jerks you really hard. I had to hold up my DS 21months when it would go around. I dont think an 8 month old could handle it. Id just do the baby swap. Let your DH and 2 yr old go then when they come out you trade up. then your 2 yr old can ride it two times in a row!!!

that's a good idea!! She would love that! I read that the fast pass line takes a while to get thru, do you know how long you waited?
