Toy Story Land ?

They say Toy Story Land will open next summer, But when? We will be there first part of May, could they be giving soft openings maybe?

There has been no official statement. When Disney gives a season, that's generally a three month window. They will narrow it down as it gets closer to completion. I think it is entirely possible that there will be soft-openings in May, but it is also just as likely that they won't. I wouldn't make plans around it though.

I experienced soft openings of both the RockinRoller Coaster and Expedition Everest both within a month or two of the official opening. But if you have no clue when they'll be opening Toy Story Land (July/August), you can't predict. Both of my soft openings were happy accidents.

But also for Pandora, in lieu of general public soft openings they did Annual Passholder previews. They did have a couple of soft openings but those were really close to the opening date.

I would probably place a bet on the opening Memorial Day weekend with AP previews in May.

We are there during the 1st 2 weeks in June and the girls are praying its open since I make them go with me for 2 days in Hollywood Studios.

It would be awesome if thy have AP or DVC soft open between May 16 and 22 ... I postponed my trip until then so my coworker could have his honeymoon without it causing problems. That would be some nice karma for me

I think there is extreme pressure for them to get something substantial opened at Hollywood Studios so i will be very surprised if this isn't opened by May.

May would be wonderful! We got in on the Pandora preview this past May, and that was awesome. Would love to have such good luck again.
