I recently returned from WDW and rode the DHS's Slinky Rollercoaster and Spinning Aliens using a rental wheelchair that I was thinking about buying.
I haven't been to WDW in several years and I was surprised that the cast members actually asked if I needed help or offered me a helping hand. Years before, cast members always told me they were not allowed to give a helping hand per their Disney policy, but they could call the EMT's.
I went to early entry and arrived to the gate at 0600. They started letting us in around 0630, but only to the front of the street. About 10 minutes later they let us go to the end of the street. Then after about 5 minutes, they let us go to Toy Story Land. I had never been before and it was the second day of opening. I stayed on the left side of the line as best as I could. I didn't realize that once that I got to Toy Story Land entrance and I saw some space to the left that I was actually in the standby line. So, I got out and headed over to Swinging Aliens. I had a Fast Pass+ for 0840 for the Slinky Rollercoaster.
When I arrived at the Spinning Aliens at 0701, the wait time was 5 minutes. I arrived near the entrance and they separated me when they asked if I was a single rider. They also directed me to the accessible entrance and said they would help me drive to the seat. I got on. It was much wider than MK's spinning saucers. After the ride, the cast member met me with my wheelchair. I think that if I had waited they might have brought it to me beside the ride seat.
Since I had so much time, I rode the Toy Story Mania ride. They separated me again, They also had the wheelchair seat that allowed me to drive on and strapped down and another space for a guest. The exit seemed like the only shady place and seemed like a long walk.
The accessible rest room is located across from the Spinning Aliens and next to the quick food service. It seemed a little larger. It also had an extra toilet roll affixed to the wall next to the fold down infant changer table.
At 0840, I entered with my FP+. They told me I could only enter 5 minutes prior to my FP+. I thought it was 15 minutes. I was surprised that they would help me to the Slinky Rollercoaster seat and help me in if I needed it. I had plenty of supports to hold on to get in and out. They rolled my wheelchair out of the way and rolled it back next to the Slinky Rollercoaster and then again asked me if I needed help. I exited on the same side that I got on to the ride. I didn't see any special slide in seats. I wish that I had asked and that I took pictures
