Toy Story Land - Fastpass advice needed

My 60 day window for booking FP opens in a few days, and I need help deciding what FPs to try for! We'll only be going to HS for one day, and since we are doing the Star Wars tour, I won't be able to do rope drop (and any FP will have to be after the tour ends around 130/2). Since I can only book one FP for the Toy Story Land rides, I'm assuming I should try to get Slinky Dog. If that isn't available, would the next best FP choice be Midway Mania or Aliens? Is there a better chance of getting a 4th FP that day for one of those rides? Which ride would probably have shorter wait times in the afternoon? Thanks!

Definitely Slinky. Small chance of getting the other 2 as additional ones later in the evening. I saw both pop up last trip but still took lots of refreshing and only at a single time usually when it did show.

For march, i was only able to get SDD at my 60+6 day. MWM and Aliens were easy to get on day 2 or 3.

With the extra capacity for MWM now, stand by is not as bad as it used to be.

You have a better shot at SLDD if you wait until later in your trip. The further back you go in your trip the fewer people you're up against. Remember folks can book FP's out 10 days into the future. The later in your trip increases your odds.

Go for SDD, if you cannot get it. Get in line before the park close to ride it.

If you are not able to get SDD, TSM is easier to get than A2S. I don't know your trip-mates' preferences, but my group chose TSM over A2S every time.

Thanks everyone; plan is to try to get a FB for Slinky but it may not be possible because my trip is quite short. If I have to choose between a FP for Aliens or TSMM, I'm wondering which one would be a better FP? It sounds like perhaps I should get the FP or Aliens because TSM has more capacity now?

I got a SDD at 60 days today for evening time, and I also have one for morning that I found a couple days before that that also found at 60 days. Don’t give up.(none of these were my original picks for the day, I found them while modifying)

Aliens is just a swirling circle ride. If you have little kids, they may enjoy it. It’s pretty basic. I am personally choosing TSMM over Aliens every time.

You may still be able to get SDD for a short trip if your group is small and you don't mind late afternoon or evening.
