Here today and the fastpass line is four rope lanes thick outside the attraction.

I’ve never seen it roped off like this.

Standby is 165 (maybe- I don’t trust anything they post on standby waits when the fastpass line is this long).

Is this their new strategy? Make the “real” line only fastpass and post ridiculously long waits so practically no one actually gets in line for the attraction?

Well, they did do that test a couple years ago where the ride was made FP only all day long. So nothing would surprise me.

I was there on Saturday. The ride was down for a while. I think they’ve been having some technical difficulty. I know they have three tracks, but it seems like only one was operational. We went through the same FP+ setup that you describe.

It wasn’t as bad as it looked because practically all the line inside the building was closed. Once we got inside we didn’t wait long at all.

Lots of complaints by guests outside about how too many fastpasses were given out. It was only about a 25 minute fastpass wait. That’s still too long for fastpass, but it looked much worse when we got in line.

They must be only running one track.

I was there for RD on Wednesday. There is practically no line inside, so it looks much worse than it is.

Only one track is being used as they are moving the enterence/queue around.... standby only as of Saturday until TS Land opens

There are FPs available for June 25 at least, which is before TSL officially opens. There could be soft openings the week before though, that is still unknown.

The majority of the interior queue space is currently walled off and under construction while they add the new entrance for Toy Story Land. As a result, both the standard and express lines have been backing up outside the building (because there isn't as much space inside the building as there once was)

Furthermore, both lines now combine before entering the building, at the door, so at the point you go inside the building, you're no longer "express" or "standard" ... you're just in the one line.

So basically all the individual queue, whether express or regular, is outside. Then there's a short stretch of combined queue inside.
