Toy Story Character Breakfast??

We're going in November.....any word on a TOY STORY CHARACTER BREAKFAST of anything with these fun lovin' fellas?

Nope not going to happen. Instead they have decided on one with JoJo and her friends at Hollywood and Vine. Not sure who JoJo is but I know I've seen this character at photo ops in MGM. Oh well, I was excited about the Toy Story one myself too!

Do you think it's possible that this Playhouse Disney Meal is temporary -- just something going on during this Magical Beginnings program. It sort of makes sense that they're doing it right now with all of the Playhouse Disney concerts going on-- but I bet once it's done, they go back to their original plan of the Toy Story Meal (I've read alot of evidence which suggests that, at least, one time, this meal was supposed to be Toy Story).

Well, We have it booked for December (Playhouse Disney), so it won't go away to soon. When does Magical beginnings end?

We have the playhouse disney lunch booked for Halloween. No plans to get rid of it that I know of.

Well, just because you have it booked, doesn't mean the characters won't change. 'Ohana breakfast used to be Goofy's breakfast (isn't that right, it was someone else before L&S), and then it changed to Lilo and Stitch even though they had already taken reservations for the time period after the switch(at the time it switched, I remember someone being upset because they had it reserved for Goofy, and now they had to try and cancel and get a new PS somewhere else). When you make the reservation, the CM tells you characters are subject to change. We love Einsteins (have it booked for this month and again in January), but I think Toy Story appeals to more people, and is more marketable.

This meal was supposed to be a Toy Story meal. Apparently they changed it at the last minute as the newly empowered Pixar people did not want their characters part of a breakfast setting.

So instead you get characters from JoJo's Circus and Little Einsteins. I doubt it will be a Toy Story deal anytime in the near future.

I am not 100% sure, but I read somewhere that there were problems with Pixar allowing Disney to use the characters for a meal. Not sure why though, but apparently Disney was going ahead with the Toy Story Meal (I believe people saw casting being advertised for Sarge) but then the Pixar/Disney deal went through and the Meal got scrapped. Again, not 100% sure on this, but I remember reading this awhile ago.

The Toy Story meal---mainly for reasons outlined above--is DEAD for now.

That does not mean it will never happen in the future, it only means there are no plans to move forward with it as of today.
