Toy Story Breakfast

Sorry to start a new thread - I know there's been a ton of posts about this subject but I couldn't find one quickly and I wanted to add this "news"...

When I was on the phone yesterday making PS arrangements, the CM told me that a Toy Story Breakfast was DEFINITELY in the works but no announcement as to where and when - just in the near future and (her thoughts) probably MGM.

YEA!!! Anyone else as excited as I am? Coming from someone who really agonized before booking my DS at the Wonderland Tea Party, I think this "boy themed" breakfast is great news

As someone who has a DS (3.5 yrs) who introduces himself as Buzz Lightyear, this is most welcome news!!!

I'm glad they finally realized there are little boys out there too! Not everyone loves the princesses!!!!!

We are hoping to go down in October, maybe it will be going by then!!!

I'm hoping by June since that's our time but if not then, it's at least great to know that it's "in the works"! Anyone hear any more specifics?

BTW, I usually don't repeat rumors...wouldn't want to get anyone's hopes up and then crushed, but I just can't help but think that if an official CM told me it's definite (in her words, definitely happening, just not sure where or when), than it's got to be true. However, it seems like Disney would instruct their CM's to zip it about these sorts of things, true or untrue...seems like there would be a code of silence or something...

I hope this is true. It would be extremely nice if it were to happen before our trip in May!!! My DS4 loves the Toy Story characters!!! He would absolutely FLIP if he could meet Buzz Lightyear in person......

That would be awesome! I think H&V would be the perfect location for that.
Unfortuantely, we all know how reliable some CMs can be, so Im trying not to get excited until something official is announced. On our last trip I was arguing with a CM at the gates of MK about the hours for the day...he went to check and I was right.

I HOPE it's true! But CM's can be wrong about anything, and "definitely in the works" is a far cry from "definitely going to happen"! Let's just hope Steve Jobs (CEO of Pixar) doesn't stick his nose into it...

Oh please, please , please before May!!!! I really think this would be great for all the little "guys" and "girls" out there but especially for the boys. With all the princess "stuff" out there , I feel that the boys get slighted.

I called wdw dine today and the cast member also told me that a Toy Story meal was definitely in the works. She also didn't know when it would begin or where, but that she knew it was definitely in the plans!!! I really hope this happens before my trip in November- my son and daughter would be thrilled!!!

How does Disney announce a new meal like this? Is it just luck that you find out or do they make a big deal about it? We are going beginning of June with 3 boys and they would love this. We did the one at the Poly 3 years ago and Minnie led the parade with our then 13 year old and his little brothers are still teasing him about being Minnie's boyfriend and telling him to watch out for Mickey or he will get punched for stealing his girl.As a result he has vetoed any meals where we could embarress him(although we will certainly try!)

A Toy Story meal would be awesome and I don't even have boys! My 5-yr-old daughter is very into Toy Story, especially Jessie, of course, but she loves Buzz and Woody also. Can't wait to hear more details. We don't go until October so maybe we'll get lucky!

Hey, Michele C - my DD LOVES Jessie too! We have almost every Jessie toy made - and many pajamas, shirts, sweats, etc!! We'll be visiting Disney in October too!!!

I hope it's true!! On our last trip my son enjoyed the character meals, but he was looking for something different!!

We're not going again until Oct. 2004, so hopefully if it starts it will stay around until then !

But I think it will be wildly popular for both boys & girls, so it should be around until then !

If anyone gets anymore information on when it will start, PLEASE POST!!

This would be great. We will be there in June with our two Grandsons and they would just love this. They are big fans. It would deffinatly be a highlight.

I really hope that they get this going. We are going in June also and would this as an option. My older son just loves anything with Buzz, Woody and the gang.
