Toy Story 4 is in the works

IMO, Toy Story is the all time best animated movie. I loved all three of them, one more than the next. And don't forget the new generation of kids who want to share in the Woody/Buzz adventures. Just saw the Hawaiian Vacation short and I loved it. It was actually better than the entire Cars 2 movie I paid a fortune to take my kids to see!!

I would rather see them do a second movie for The Incredibles and let Toy Story end at 3.

They did do an Incredibles "Sequel" unfortunately it was just in video game form. I would love for them to do a movie sequel I just don't think Brad Bird has it in him.

If they do a new Toy Story my vote would be for new characters possibly a storyline between "traditional" toys verses new video games or electronic toys. I think Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang need to enjoy their "retirement" with Bonnie.

They need to stop :sad2: I hate seeing good things being dragged out too long. I'm a huge Pirates fan (Obviously) and I remember saying I didn't care how many Pirates movies they made. The more movies there were, the better. After Pirates 4 I learned my lesson, it made me so sad because it was nowhere near the standards of the first movie :sad1: Disney can not do that to Toy Story too.

On another note the Monster University movie interests me, I hope Pixar pulls through:thumbsup2 I always wanted to see Mike and Sully back in action

Yea at least wait another 10 years (like last time) when Andy has kids and needs to find them some "good ole day" toys, and has to hunt them down or something.

Toy Story 3 ended perfectly for a trilogy. This is a terrible idea.

I think Toy Story 3 was a great movie! However, I would love if they came out with another movie :goodvibes I guess i'm in the minority? :confused3

There was eight HP movies, six Star Wars movies, eight Shrek movies, four Indiana Jones movies, four PoTC movies, and five total Twilight saga movies. I don't see why an epic conclusion to the Toy Story series would be so bad, Bonnie would make a great protagonist.

the ending to 3 was fine, I can't see why they'd want to ruin the perfect ending. :confused3

I haven't seen HP but I can say that I am sick to death of it and can't wait for it to fade away.

Only the first Star Wars trilogy is remembered fondly. The second gave us Jar Jar Binks.

Shrek was only good for two movies. Dreamworks' insistence on making more has nothing to do with quality.

I can't comment on Indiana Jones (I haven't seen them) - but my BF reliably informs me that the 4th is terrible.

POTC 4 has, from what I've seen, been received less than well. Even POTC 3 was considered overly messy.

And Twilight is just awful in general!

While I enjoy the Toy Story films I think it ended well at 3 - there was real closure to it. It was a definite ending. If they keep making them they'll eventually make a not-so-great one and it will tarnish the whole series.

Besides the fact that "3" had a perfect ending, I can't help but feel that the quality of a fourth film would be very low and just another way to get another Woody doll sold.

First off, there were only 4 Shrek movies.

Toy Story 3 ended perfectly. There's no need to mess it all up with a 4th movie.

In July I went to a preview of Cars 2 in London where John Lasseter did a Q & A after the viewing, and one of the questions asked was about this and he said they were'nt allowed to talk about that... so that could mean yes!!

As much as I love the Toy story films another one may not be as good seeing as we had such a neat ending, that said I love Jessie and would'nt say no to another film with her :)

I really don't want this to happen, Toy Story 3 was an epic end to a fantastic trilogy. I came out of the cinema in floods of tears not only because of the emotional content but because of the sense of finality. TS4 would feel like too much of a backtrack and may possibly undermine the brilliance of TS3.
