Toy Story 3

I love imdb. My Dh always makes fun of me. You know when you are watching something and you sit there and say 'what do I know him from'...... I am always looking people up as we are watching movies. LOL :rotfl:

Who's gonna do the voice for Slinky-Dog, Jim Varney finished his movie career with: Earnest Goes to Heaven... know what I mean Vern?

Is it bad that I laughed hysterically at this comment?

They can put a sleeveless t-shirt and a baseball cap on Slinky-Dog and Larry the Cable Guy can provide the voice.

"Get 'er done, Buzz!"

Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.

I'll have to let my DH know that there is someone like me out there! Obsessed with imdb AND Disney!! :thumbsup2

(Maybe its cause we live in SE pa!)

I know it is a burden to love IMDB and Disney, but only the strong can do it! :rotfl:

Just remember about IMDB, they aren't always right.. They do get info wrong... With that, I admit, I read IMDB every day too...

I hope they are correct. Number 2 was good enough to make me think there is no reason these characters can't be used again. Woody was the focus in 2, so let's make this one about someone else.

I thought Lassetter said no Toy Story 3??? Maybe he changed his mind... Waiting for Disney/Pixar to officially announce TS3.. After all IMDB does have Ghostbusters 3 listed (Ghostbusters In Hell).. And Dan Akroyd has said NO GB 3...

I'm just as bad. I'll even get up in the middle of the night if we're watching a movie in our bedroom and go downstairs, turn on the computer just to look it up...even if it means missing part of the movie. The satisfaction of FINALLY figuring out where it was you saw that face is worth it.

Toy Story 2 was probably one of the best Disney sequels. It would only make sense to have a third.

Also, I heard awhile back that they were making a movie of Rapunzel to make another princess movie. Is there any truth in this? The info came from the biographies of the actors and actresses on The West Wing website.

There are other threads detailing the Rapunzel rumor. The rumor is they are working on such a project.

imdb states "Buzz Lightyear is recalled to a factory in Taiwan, and the rest of his toy pals go to rescue him. "

also possible release in 2008

An article by Jim Hill today about the dissapointing performance of Cars mentions that Toy Story II is on hold.

How bad can Cars be? In two weeks, it did do over $100 million. Granted thats low for Pixar but its still pretty good. I haven't seen it, but I heard its kind of long and slow for little ones. That was the biggest problem with the Incredibles. It was just a little too grown up.

I don't know if grown-up is the right word, but it certainly didn't have the same appeal to the kindergarten set as others in the Pixar library.

This is an interesting concept, equating film's gross with its quality. How did this begin?
